pittock mansion december 22, 2004

An establishing shot of the Pittock Mansion, built by the founder of the Oregonian newspaper. Hannah and Bryce. The first edition of the Oregonian. In Portland, O.T. (Oregon Territory). Ornaments hanging from the tree. The dining room. Snowflake decoration hanging in the window.
More flakes. Nifty sink in the kitchen. The oven. Notice the cork in the ketchup bottle. Pots hanging in the pantry. Eggs in the ammonia-fueled refrigeration room.
This light fixture was specially designed for changing utilities: the lamps pointing up supported gas, and the ones pointing down were electric. Bryce and Hannah. One room was sponsored by Tiffany. A state-of-the-art intercom system. A lady's bedroom. Tree in that bedroom.
I really liked this curtain. The view from that bedroom window. The three of us. The gate house was full of neat fixtures, like this door handle. Toilet in the gate house.
